Ypsilanti High School’s Drama students will represent the United States at the August 2007 Fringe Festival, the world’s largest performing arts festival, in Edinburgh, Scotland. YHS Drama is the only Michigan high school, and one of only 40 in the US invited to perfom with the American High School Theatre Festival at the Fringe.
This evening there was a fund raising event at Corner Brewery to help raise the money for the trip. The group is quite close to their goal and every little bit helps. If you feel like making a tax deductible donation to the troupe you can mail a check to:
