He also speaks great English, having studied for three years in New York. He was enrolled in a hotel and restaurant management program in 1995 and currently works in Quito for Swiss Hotels, a chain. Yamil is a runner and I\u0092d guess he\u0092s in his mid-30\u0092s. He was wearing a Quito marathon t-shirt and, at the point where I thought I might have to be airlifted off the island, I saw him sprinting up the hill. He was with a group of about seven other young men on our tour today and they are part of a larger group of 25 traveling together.
